Purple Flower
Well, almost purple. I guess I could have called it Fuchsia Flower but purple covers a lot so I’ll leave it be. This is another one in my collection of modernized patchwork small quilts. I found the flower image in an upholstery fabric I had never used so I decided to fussy cut the flower and make it a focal point. I used a lot of metallic thread as I sewed around the edges as well as in the middle part. I used both hand embroidery and machine embroidery to enhance the image, to make it glow!
